Scoring & Grades

Each question is scored from 0 (unknown) to 5 (exceeds standard). Category percentages are weighted and averaged to produce the overall grade. Weights are configurable by administrators to reflect organizational priorities.

Overall Grade Thresholds

A85–100%Healthy with strong growth potential. Sustainable for a decade or more.
B70–84%Healthy but may lack some controls. Some stress emerging.
C50–69%Distress affecting operations. Risk of failure within a decade.
D35–49%Considerable stress. Month-to-month survival.
E20–34%High risk of dissolution. Week-to-week survival.
F0–19%Failed or imminent failure.

Weighted Average

Category weights are calibrated by Ecclesia Pulse based on established best practices for religious non-profit operations. By default, all seven categories contribute equally to the overall grade, but weights may be adjusted to reflect the relative importance of each dimension to long-term sustainability.
